Welcome to

Les Capelles Methodist Church

Les Capelles Methodist Church and Community Centre welcomes everyone to join us in worship and in the variety of community activities that are organised throughout the year.

Why not come and say hello?
Les Capelles Methodist Church,
St Sampsons, Guernsey

Les Capelles Methodist Church members seek to build on contacts and outreach within the community, and to make the gospel message accessible to those who use the church premises but would not normally join in worship.

Our aim is to provide fellowship, support and spiritual growth as we explore our faith together.

Sunday Services

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

1 John 4:12

Espresso Service

A short informal service including fresh coffee and croissants. The informal service explores the Christian faith in a short series of meetings. They often have a theme and are held at specific times of the year such as Lent, Harvest and Advent.

Morning Worship

Weekly Sunday service following a variety of styles of worship. Communion is celebrated each month. Services are followed by FairTrade coffee/tea/squash and a chat in the hall

Sunday Club

Available for children aged 3 upwards at the same time as morning worship during term time. The children join the main service for the start and then go to do their own activities.

A crèche for younger children is available

A Crèche is available at the 10.30am morning worship where parents/carers can choose to stay with their children and listen to the service through the loudspeaker system.

The First Sunday in the month is generally all age worship and includes uniformed organisations parading during term time. After the service there is the opportunity to purchase items from the Millennium Hall while enjoying refreshments.
